The Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation Scholarship Program is now officially closed as of 16 March 2025. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who applied for the 2025-26 Academic Year.
Our program is dedicated to recognizing and supporting outstanding students who embody our mission to Commemorate, Educate, and Serve. Scholarships will be awarded to the most talented and qualified applicants, helping them achieve their educational aspirations.
Applicants will be notified of award decisions no later than 15 June 2025.

Scholarship Program FAQs
Rita P. Maxwell Memorial Scholarship
The Rita P. Maxwell Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship generously funded by Patriot Circle members Mr. Matthies and Mrs. deBloisblanc to provide financial support to transitioning United States Military service members pursuing undergraduate studies with a focus on the performing arts. The scholarship consists of two (2) annual $5,000 awards for the 2025-2026 school year. To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have served honorably in any branch of the US Armed Forces
- Be full time students attending an accredited non-profit undergraduate program in the United States
- Preference will be given to students with a music/theatrical arts focus
- Marines’ Memorial membership is not required
