The Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation Scholarship Program will open on 13 January 2025 and will award over $120,000 in scholarships for the 2025-26 Academic Year! Our Program recognizes and supports exemplary students that further our mission to Commemorate, Educate, and Serve. The Program continues to emphasize financial need and ensure scholarships are
awarded to the most talented and qualified students to realize their educational dreams.
The selection process is based on scholastics, personal achievements, financial need, a 250-500 word writing prompt, one (1) letter of recommendation, and a “Headshot” photo. Complete and submit the online application no later than Sunday, 16 March 2025 at 11:59pm PT.

Edmund K. Gross Education Scholarship
The Edmund K. Gross Education Scholarship was created by a close friend in memory of Edmund K. Gross, Jr, Marine Corps captain and Purple Heart recipient. Mr. Gross dedicated his post-military career as an educator and supporting other educators, and this scholarship continues that legacy. One (1) $2500 Edmund K. Gross Education Scholarship will be awarded this year. To be eligible, applicants must:
- Be Education majors at an accredited undergraduate university/college full time during the 2025-2026 school year
- Be an active member of the Marines’ Memorial, or a child or grandchild of an active member
