The Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation Scholarship Program is now officially closed as of 16 March 2025. We extend our sincere gratitude to all who applied for the 2025-26 Academic Year.
Our program is dedicated to recognizing and supporting outstanding students who embody our mission to Commemorate, Educate, and Serve. Scholarships will be awarded to the most talented and qualified applicants, helping them achieve their educational aspirations.
Applicants will be notified of award decisions no later than 15 June 2025.

Scholarship Program FAQs
Cold War Veterans Scholarship
Three (3) $2,500 Cold War Veterans Scholarships are available this year. Established by Walter and Bonnie Leach, this scholarship acknowledges Veterans for their peacetime service. Walter Leach, a Cold War era Marine Veteran, joined the US Marine Corps in 1959 and served for four-and-a-half years. Following his end of active service, he studied Civil Engineering at Cal Poly, Pomona. To be eligible, applicants must:
- Plan to attend a full-time accredited Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)undergraduate university/college program during the 2025-2026 school year
- Be an active member of the Marines’ Memorial or a child or grandchild of an active member
