The Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation Scholarship Program will award over $120,000 in scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year! Our Program recognizes and supports exemplary students that further our mission to Commemorate, Educate, and Serve. The Program continues to emphasize financial need and ensure scholarships are awarded to the most talented students who require extra financial assistance to realize their education dreams.
The selection process is based on scholastics (transcripts in .PDF format only), personal achievements, financial need, a 250-500 word writing prompt (.PDF format only), and one (1) letter of recommendation (.PDF format only), and “Headshot” photo (.PDF format only). NOTICE: ALL attachments must be in .PDF format or your package will NOT be considered, Fully complete the online applications - including latest transcript and letter of recommendation – must be submitted no later than Friday, 15 March 2024 at 11:59pm PT.
Please follow the instructions below:
- Applicants access the application form through the MMA&F Scholarship site.
- Select the “APPLY” button to access the Marines’ Memorial “AwardSpring” program to register for their AwardSpring account.
- Once registered for their account, applicants can log in and log out and return to their application until they are ready to submit.
- Applicants can apply for one (or more) scholarships they are eligible for.
- Fully completed online applications, including most current transcript, (1) letter of recommendation, and writing prompt, and a “Headshot” photograph in .PDF format.
- All documents must be uploaded to the online application and fully completed. Any documents sent by e- mail, postal mail, or fax cannot be accepted.

Rita P. Maxwell Memorial Scholarship
The Rita P. Maxwell Memorial Scholarship is a scholarship generously funded by Patriot Circle members Mr. Matthies and Mrs. deBloisblanc to provide financial support to transitioning United States Military service members pursuing undergraduate studies with a focus on the performing arts. The scholarship consists of two (2) annual $5,000 awards for the 2023-2024 school year. To be eligible, applicants must:
- Have served honorably in any branch of the US Armed Forces
- Be full time students attending an accredited non-profit undergraduate program in the United States
- Preference will be given to students with a music/theatrical arts focus
- Marines’ Memorial membership is not required
