- My girlfriend and I had drinks and appetizers in the bar at the Rainier Club recently (August 2023). It's a beautiful building with extensive and unusual art and photography collection, as well as many statues by Remington. Happy hour (4-6) prices were astonishingly low, and the staff was very friendly. Highly recommend.

- We (family of 5) stayed at the club October 2024. The rooms were great and the food was as well. Highly recommend.
- My girlfriend and I had drinks at the WAC recently (August 2023) and were very impressed by the facilities. There are full-floor gym facilities (male only, female only, and mixed-sex) which we didn't use. The club makes annual awards to the top collegiate rugby players (male and female) and keeps the jerseys of awardees in a room next to the bar. The staff was friendly and efficient. Highly recommend.
- We spent four nights there, using three rooms, over Labor Day weekend 2015. The WAC is a wonderful club/hotel! The rooms were excellent, the service was outstanding and the food delicious. And Seattle was fun too! I can't wait to return.
- We recently spent four nights at the Inn at the WAC. Our room (a deluxe queen at $275//night plus tax) was attractively furnished and had a fairly large bathroom. Every staff member we encountered -- front desk, coffee counter barista, sports café workers, gym attendants, security guards -- was cheerful and helpful. There were some negatives about the room. First, the door of the room was directly across from a service elevator. At times, we heard carts rattling as they were pushed onto the elevator. At times, we heard employees chatting as they waited for the elevator. We could hear the "hmmmm" of the HVAC system 24/7; glad we packed our white noise machine. The closet was tiny and badly placed (when the closet door was open, one could not reach one side of the bed or the door to the hallway). There is a charge to use the extensive athletic facilities -- $16 per person per day.
- I echo William Elliott's comments from 2012. I stayed for three nights in September, 2013 and found WAC an excellent reciprocal club with everything I could have needed. WAC's pricing is competitive with nearby lodgings such as the Seattle Marriott Waterfront, and its ammenities are far better than one will find in lodgings for the same price. Would stay there again. Note: The light rail system goes from Sea-Tac Airport into downtown, stopping near enough to the WAC to be a consideration. Clean, well-lit, cars, frequent service. Senior citizen fare is $.75 one-way - beats any cab or limo.
- Had an excellent 3-night stay at the WAC. It is ideally located in downtown Seattle, only 2-3 blocks from the light rail system which will take you to the ballparks, Chinatown, etc., and it's close to whatever you need in downtown Seattle. We were there for my grand-nephew's wedding & the wedding, reception, and dinner were all held there in the WAC. All were excellently done. They also have an excellent restaurant & sports bar as well as complete exercise facilities. Rooms were nice & the service was quite good. Price was reasonable for a downtown, large city, first-rate facility. On a 5-star basis, I would give it a good solid 4.5. I would stay there again any time. Do make reservations well in advance.

- Date of visit: 30 Mar 21, Sent Letter of Intro for dinner with no response. I called hotel desk contact # to confirm and was told to call back and speak to restaurant (The 1910) a day before our visit. Very casual and not too professional -- appears to mostly serve as a gym downtown with a hotel and food as secondary. Service was fair -- Tara, our server was courteous but not formally trained to serve. Ambiance of the dining room was more like a Pub, but good food options when it is not "Game Night"... which limited options for Entrees. Quality of the food was good but a bit pricey for level of service. Not a special night by any means--but a solid option if travelling. - W Brainard
- Posted on 6/29/19 - My daughter and I had the pleasure of dining at their Christmas Eve Buffet. We were warmly greeted, the service superb and the food excellent. I highly recommend it and look forward to a return visit. - Jerry L. Bayley
