The Club
- Visited this club over the New Year weekend of 2022. I would highly recommend it when visiting Salt Lake. Great Pub!!
- September 24, 2018 at 9:03am - was staying in SLC for two months while going through work training. I was not able to stay overnight at the Alta Club but I went there to work out and enjoy a meal afterwards on several occasions. The club is right in downtown and has parking that is free approximately 200 yards away from the entrance. Street parking in this area is hard to come by and you have to pay for it so this is a nice benefit. The gym is modestly sized but the fitness staff were very friendly and they have a massage therapist as well. The locker room has a steam room which is always one of the things I enjoy after exercising. The bar upstairs is business casual and I enjoyed several meals there with the very friendly bartender (John or JW - he answers to both). Very nice club - my guess is the rooms are nice as well but I do not know for sure. - Lou Carmona
- My wife and I stayed at the Alta Club in late June 2015 and our visit was outstanding in every respect. I would high recommend a stay at the Alta Club to any member who has occasion to visit Salt Lake City. The rooms are comparable to the MMC. The club also has an excellent dining room and handsome bar which also has a dining area. The food and service are superb. The club also has a library/reading room, game room and ornately decorated lobby. Ranks right up there with the MMC and the Army-Navy Club of Washington, DC.
