  1. We contacted the club and were told there would be a $50 reciprocal club fee added to our bill. So we decided to not use this club. We had to provide our reciprocal club introductory letter since they didn't seem to receive it from MMC.
  2. Stopped in for lunch. They added a $25.00 parking fee to the lunch bill.
  3. We stayed at the Queen City Club in Cincinnati for two nights, and were pleasantly surprised that the Presidential Suite was open. What a beautiful room. Bed was very comfortable, and staff very accommodating. Local restaurants close by, and the in-house dining room was excellent. Beautiful building, great art, and a joy to visit. Jon C. Abeles Captain, USNR-Retired
  4. We often stay at QCC and use their facilities when we are in town. Their service is unparalleled and they have a wonderful club. I would recommend a visit to this club for any member!
  5. Queen City Club in Cincinnati was a fantastic setting for our 10 military officer dinner ---- They were fantastic in arrangements via phone. The meal, service and atmosphere was fantastic. Really enjoyed our time at their facility and would recommend a visit here to all! Thanks for ensuring such great reciprocal clubs! Semper FI! Scott K. Rineer, MD MPH CAPT MC(FS/FMF) USN

  1. Enjoyed celebrating my 29 ++ birthday here (all right ... 49 years young) with three fellow officers. The Athletic Club of Columbus is celebrating their 100th Anniversary this year - It's easy to see how they've been in business for such a long time in this beautiful building. Our bar tender was a Navy man - Great to get reconnected for both he and our group. After drinks in their Happy Hour - Library on the first deck, we enjoyed a great ambiance in the main dining room ---- Not sure why we were the only ones dining there this evening, but made for a very wonderful experience. The food and service was absolutely fantastic. Having a very rich (and low calorie - right?) chocolate birthday cake after some of the most reasonably priced (and terrific selection) of wines ---- well, I'm still having to work this weight off. Glad their facility allows for such a great work out as well. Absolutely incredible experience --- Be sure to enjoy this reciprocal club! Scott K. Rineer, MD MPH FACEP FAAEM CPH CAPT MC(FS/FMF) USN

  1. A really impressive place. Guest rooms on the fourth floor are a little tired but the rest of the building looks terrific. Very much a classic club of a earlier era. Beautiful art collection. First floor rooms are very elegant. The bar and grill room are delightful. Bartender was great fun. Food in the grill room was excellent as was the service. Nice, reasonably priced, wine list. Price for the guest rooms was very reasonable. Club staff were very friendly and worked to make my stay delightful. I would definitely stay here again should I be in Cleveland.
  2. Posted on 6/27/2019: Hi just wanted to pass this along in case you are asked about this club. Union Club of Cleveland; + • Great location • Beautiful Grand club • Great staff. Especially the bartender in the main bar who was so good at introducing the folks at the bar to each other. - • Hotel Rooms are very old and tired - My hotel room bathroom was is disrepair. • No secure wi-fi connection. I was there only business and needed a secure wi-fi connection. When I brought it up I was told that many guests has asked for the same thing? • Confusing check-out with no final bill available at check-out. • No host at restaurant one morning. I sat in there for 15 minutes. Went to front desk and was then told by hostess that she was busy “having some girl talk”. I have problem with that it was just I needed to eat and was on a schedule. • Food was average at best. Overall, I would recommend going to events there but not staying there in the hotel section. Nowhere near the quality of MMC. - Ted
  3. Hidden gem. Gorgeous all the way around. Easy and free parkikng. Neat city. Go on a weekend and have this grnad lady to yourself. $99 a night. Rooms were nice. Cleveland Museum of Art (drive). Rock and Roll HOF, Browns and Indians all an easy walk. I will be back.
