  1. After one visit it felt like we were among friends. Had a delightful lunch, tour and chat at the Club while visiting Halifax and rest of Nova Scotia on our vacation from Florida’s heat. The Club is in the center of the waterfront district. Super centrally located. The staff was incredibly cordial. Kudos to Jennifer Campbell who kept in touch with us before our visit and, especially Club Manager Meghann McDonald who made our visit delightful. The Club has a wonderful history and Meghann, a native Haligonian (I think I got that right), regaled us with stories that don’t appear in the tour books including the Clubs brush with disaster from the 1917 Great Explosion. Our meal was superbly prepared and presented. Can’t say enough about The Halifax Club. We’ll be back!

  1. We visited the TAC in October 2022. It was an amazing facility in the heart of Tokyo. We noted they had accommodations although the MMC indicates it does not. The suites are available to reciprocal guests. Highly recommend visiting this club if able. Interestingly, they share an entry road with the Embassy of Afghanistan, now called the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.

  1. My stay was for 3 nights in April 2024. The club was superb! The staff, food, and drink was excellent. The museum was very interesting, especially the Red Barron's exhibit. Go and enjoy. Extremely clean rooms.
  2. Stayed here in August 2022. Excellent experience. Front desk staff friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and well priced. Club is centrally located and next to the US Consulate. We were in town to attend a concert at the Rogers Arena which is a short walk away. The elevator to the guest rooms is from the lobby that is shared with an apartment building above the club. As a result you can come and go easily from your room and in very casual clothing. As we were there in August the public rooms of the club were closed. We did not have the opportunity to try the bars or the dining room. The photographs of the guest rooms on the web site are accurate. I will assume that the photos of the rest of the club are accurate. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again should we be in Toronto.
