Formed in 1946, the Marines’ Memorial Association exists as a tribute to those who have gone before, and a service to those who carry on. Our flagship is the Marines’ Memorial Club in San Francisco, where Veterans from all branches of the US Armed Forces have gathered, socialized, dined, and told their stories for generations. Our 138 room facility, including a restaurant and state of the art gym, is a “home away from home” for many military visitors to the Bay Area. A unique establishment, the Marines’ Memorial is much more than a Club & Hotel. The Association’s mission is to honor the legacy of military service through a Living Memorial and programs that Commemorate, Educate, and Serve Veterans of all eras. Our mission is ambitious and the Marines’ Memorial is able to commemorate, educate, and serve because of tremendous support from our loyal Members and contributors. As a non-profit 501(c)(19) Veterans organization, we rely on tax deductible donations to provide charitable programs that support Veterans, the men and women in uniform, their families, and the Bay Area Community.
