      • 2022 Annual Report
        • We are excited to announce the release of the Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation Annual Report 2022 – where we celebrate our collective impact and share stories of transformation from the past year. As a valued supporter of the Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation, we want to share this report with you and express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.

Despite the challenges faced in 2021, we are proud to say that with your support, we were able to achieve great things. The work in our three pillars – Commemorate, Educate, and Serve – helped increase our commitment to veterans, active-duty members, and their families. None of this was possible without the unwavering support of our donors and community members.

This year’s annual report includes highlights of our programs, financial statements, and a special section on the impact of our work during the last year. We want to share with you how your support made a real and lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

  1. My wife and I recently spent eight very pleasant days there. The Club is conveniently located for walking in beautiful Adelaide and is a very well managed Club. The staff was most friendly and extremely helpful. As we have family living close to the city, we did not use the Club's dining facilities. We will definitely consider the Club as our first choice for lodging on our next visit to Adelaide.

  1. Lunch with my wife and a local family member in April 2014. Excellent in all respects. Staff was very helpful. ANZAC day preparations, so the Club was very involved in it, which made the occasion even more worthwhile. Building is spacious, traditional in decor, obviously proud of its heritage and membership. Quiet, relaxed dining; we sat inside, ordered from a full menu, then toured the lodging areas. Highly recommend it.

  1. Stayed here on April 12, 2013 prior to starting a TAUCK tour the following day. This club is outstanding in all respects: location, room, food and service. It ranks right up there with the top hotels in Melbourne, Cairns and Sidney that we stayed in during the tour.
  2. Modern friendly club in the heart of Melbourne. Buffet lunch not to be missed. Visited club three times and always felt welcome.

  1. My wife and I had lunch at the Royal Yacht Club in March 2012 during a visit to Tasmania. It is a delightful yacht club right on the water with friendly staff, a pleasant atmosphere, and tasty pub-style food. There are no rooms here, but it would be a superb spot to watch activities surrounding the famous Sydney-Hobart sailing races at the end of each year. Merl Pugh

  1. Beautiful club with great history much like MMC. We went for New Year's Eve 2023. They had a 3 night package that included room and breakfast. Best New Year Eve event including 5 course meal and rooftop fireworks watch party. Club was located within walking distance of many attractions near The Rocks area of Sydney. Room was comfortable and service was great. Staff was very helpful and professional. If we have an opportunity to get back to Sydney we will definitely stay at RACA.
  2. Business club in the center of Sydney. Business lunches. Large bar area

  1. Posted on 5/4/19 - We stayed at the Royal Automobile Club of Australia (RACA) in March 2019. The staff was very warm and welcoming. The location cannot be beat in downtown Sydney, close to public rail and ferry transportation, the Botanical Garden and the Sydney Opera House. The rooms were comfortable and historically interesting. The dining room and bar were both very pleasant and offered multiple delicious local menu options. The continental breakfast is included in the room rate and offered excellent and satisfying selections. - M. D. Kerber
  2. My wife and I enjoyed three wonderful days and nights at the Royal Automobile Club in Sydney. Our deluxe Harbor View room overlooked Circular Quay. We were a five minute walk from the Opera House. The staff was professional and friendly. The meals were wonderful. I would recommend this experience to everyone.
  3. My wife and I visited the Royal Automobile Club in Sydney in February 2012. We had lunch one day and had a pre-theater supper one evening prior to attending a performance at the Sydney Opera, a 5-minute walk away. The view on the harbor is charming and the meals were excellent. We did not stay in their rooms, but the location would be superb. The staff was very friendly and seemed to delighted to have visitors from the Marine Club in SF.
  4. Great location near Circular Quay and the Sydney Opera House. Formal dining room overlooks the Sydney Harbour bridge.
