Sleeping in Barracks? Not.

When I was a 2Lt, my parents came from New York for a visit. When I told my Mom I got her a nice room at the Marines' Memorial Club, my Dad said she went crazy and said she had no intention of “sleeping in a barracks on some Military base”. The look on her face when she saw her room was priceless. My parents loved their stay and I got a few points.
