“I continue to keep my membership alive”

August 6, 2021

My husband’s father, Charles Carroll, was a Maritime judge appointed by President Kennedy. He was based out of San Francisco and he was a member of the Marines’ Memorial Club. Every year, he bought memberships for his four sons to use when they came out to visit. After his death, the three that lived in the East let their memberships lapse, but my husband, Henry Carroll, decided to keep our membership active. We loved to come for visits and enjoyed the great hospitality, marvelous food, and comfortable atmosphere the Club offered. After my husband passed away, I have not been back for a visit but am hopeful that I will return some time in the futures so I continue to keep my membership alive.
