Enjoying Many Visits . . .

June 4, 2021

In August 1946, I was stationed on Treasure Island waiting for orders to return to China after being on emergency leave due to my father’s death. During my stay there, I was put on several work details. One of these was to clear a large room at 609 Sutter St. I was unaware of the future of the building until I was a medical intern at Letterman Army Hospital, on active Air Force duty in 1958-59. I eventually became a Benefactor Member and enjoying many visits while in San Francisco.
