“20 Years ago . . . “

Being from Georgia I had not heard of the MMC.

About 20years ago my wife and I were in SF for the American Dental Association meeting and I was taking my morning jog. I came across this building with all the flags and military displays. Wondering what it was I went in and enjoyed the exhibits and the bell. Although hot and sweaty I asked the desk clerk about the place and he explained. It sounded interesting so I asked if I might join to which he looked down his nose and replied “This is a veterans organization” To which I replied “Would a retired Navy Captain qualify ?” To which he straightened up and said ”Yes Sir”

We have enjoyed our membership ever since.
