  1. My wife, daughter in law & husband spent 3 nights at this club. The rooms were nice, quite & very nicely done. I would highly recommend this club when in this area. There is a free breakfast each morning with newspapers delivered to your door. The rate are less than some of the hotels in the same area. You are in walking distance to most of the city with good resturants.

  1. We recently stayed at the Ingomar Club and it was very pleasant. Ramon was very helpful with the reservation. We will be definitely be going back that way for a bit longer next time. Amazing Staff.
  2. Posted 11/8/2020 - I stayed here October 29, 2020 - what a treat! Fantastic facility - one of the most photographed Victorian buildings in the country. Very close to revised downtown boutiques, waterfront and restaurants. Clean, beautiful grounds, generous accomodations. The dinner was so great I made sure to eat lunch there the next day. Staff was professional, friendly and eager to help. The General Manager, Tim Walker, checked on me while dining. The staff clearly has pride in their facility. I can't say enough about it!! - Sonia Menenberg
  3. We attended the graduation ceremonies of my niece at Humboldt State on May 15,2015. Afterwards, our party of twelve had lunch at the Ingomar Club. While I don't believe the Club normally accommodates such a large group for lunch on Saturdays, they graciously did so for our family. I would just confirm what the other postings stated about the club: the setting, food and staff are all delightful. My special thanks to Ramon Ranoco, assistant to the general manager, who has a special skill at making you feel welcome. Our lunch served as an exclamation point to my niece's memory of her special day. (I'd also compliment the MMC for establishing a relationship with such a historic club in the far reaches of California.)
  4. We visited on Oct 13, 2014. This is a strickingly beautiful Victorian building with a grand history available in a brochure for $5. We received a tour from Ramon Ranoco, Assistant to the General Manager, when we arrived without notice, but you can't count on that. We were just lucky.. There are docents to conduct formal tours if you let them know when you are arriving. There are overnight accomodations in another building next door if you want to stay there. I an sure the dining room is wonderful for lunch or dinner daily Tuesday-Saturday. I was short on time & could not work that in. I had planned to visit on Monday evening but it is closed on Sunday & Monday. The bar looks like a "Must Visit." in the evening. I certainly wil do that next time.
  5. Our second dinner at the Ingomar Club. After trying other restaurants in the area we felt lucky to be able to return to the Ingomar Club for dinner. The Service was excellent as was the food. Over looking the bay, it was wonderful. Now if I could only get the manager to part with the glorious Coulter painting at the end of the room! Only place to get a decent dinner in Eureka, with professional service! Try it your will like it.
  6. My wife is from Eureka and had never been to the Ingomar Club. It is worth the visit, the food and service was exceptional. I was able to take my wife's whole family and we had a view of the bay and it was not crowded at all. Even though our website at the Marine Corps Memorial Club states rooms are not available I was offered overnight accommodations. I did not stay there but next time I will. It was business casual for dinner and it is worth seeing.
  7. Had a wonderful lunch at this beautiful club. Non members can only admire the building from outside the closed gate and join the throngs of picture takers. Our lunch of dungeness crab sandwich was exceptional as was the view of Humboldt Bay from our table. After lunch our server told us we were welcome to take the self guided tour of the mansion which was worth the price of lunch. If you are a Marines Memorial Member you can also have this rare experience.
  8. Don't over look an opportunity to dine at this amazing restored Victorian. The woodwork alone is over the top not to mention the stained glass windows. We dined in an area just off the spacious bar with views of the Humboldt Bay. Piano music was playing in the background...while we dined on lobster bisque, duck, crab stuffed prawns...and watched the sunset...don't miss this. The food is the best in the area...with warm friendly service..dress is business casual...jacket suggested. Most enjoyable experience in a Victoria setting with a view!

  1. Stayed here for the 2022 Air Force -Army football game at Globe Life in Arlington. Nice downtown location in Fort Worth, friendly staff, older room but spacious for when it was built. The Saturday prime rib was fantastic! Recommend getting a dinner reservation ahead of time since almost all of the tables already were reserved.
  2. Posted on February 13, 2017 at 10:42am - "Central location for Fort Worth. Within a few blocks of the Fort Worth Club, elegant dining and classy atmosphere. Close to theaters and downtown Fort Worth night life. Separate gym facilities and entrances for men and women. Accommodating staff!" - Ted Wong
