      • 2022 Annual Report
        • We are excited to announce the release of the Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation Annual Report 2022 – where we celebrate our collective impact and share stories of transformation from the past year. As a valued supporter of the Marines’ Memorial Association & Foundation, we want to share this report with you and express our sincere gratitude for your continued support.

Despite the challenges faced in 2021, we are proud to say that with your support, we were able to achieve great things. The work in our three pillars – Commemorate, Educate, and Serve – helped increase our commitment to veterans, active-duty members, and their families. None of this was possible without the unwavering support of our donors and community members.

This year’s annual report includes highlights of our programs, financial statements, and a special section on the impact of our work during the last year. We want to share with you how your support made a real and lasting impact on the lives of those we serve.

  1. Posted November 3, 2018 - I sent them a Letter of Introduction to have dinner in their dining room. They courteously acknowledged my request without hesitation. But there is additional information they want you to supply them BEFORE they will CONFIRM your reservation. Just to have lunch or dinner at The Anthenaeum they also require that you FAX to them (in advance) a back and front copy of your drivers license + a back and front copy of your credit card. I do not fax sensitive information like drivers license and credit card to offices and people I do not know. We cancelled our reservation request and instead were welcomed at another equally prestigious local membership club without all the prerequisite documentation. - Gene Glasco
  2. Wonderful club with fine food and a warm ambiance.
  3. A "grand dame" of historic Pasadena. Well appointed rooms, on the small side, but with charm. Very quiet on the weekend with very limited food service. Hospitable staff and excellent location.
  4. The Athenaeum is the CalTech Club and one of the great faculty clubs in the world. Request the Einstein suite.
  5. Exceptional site here! Additionally your website fairly a great deal right up very quick! Precisely what coordinator are you currently the application of? Can one am having your affiliate marketer url in your host? I would like my web site loaded up as speedy while your own property lol

  1. Posted on 10/5/19 - I picked the Sutter Club as a special place of interest in Sacramento to take an elder parent for a weekday lunch. We were greeted as members of a reciprocal club by a representative of the Sutter Club and escorted to the maitre d' and quickly seated in a large, half filled dining room. The decor is California mission and very nicely done. The environment is quiet and appropriate to a members-only downtown club. The service was excellent, the menu more than sufficient for lunch, and the staff very attentive. We both enjoyed the experience and will look forward to repeating it in the future. - George Tucker
  2. Posted on October 11, 2018 at 6:07pm - The staff was friendly and professional and welcomed me as from a reciprocal club. The venue is gorgeous and one couldn't ask for a better spot in the capital city. Not quite the adventure I was seeking on this trip but perhaps next time. - Marie Shadden
  3. Posted on October 11, 2018 at 5:57pm - Very hospitable staff, welcomed me as a reciprocal member. Not quite the adventure I sought in Sacramento this trip, perhaps next time. Great venue in the capital city. - Marie Shadden

  1. Had lunch here recently with my wife and kids (March 2025) and we were warmly received. Food was great, staff were friendly, and the ambiance of the club is very nice. Wonderful reading room and sitting areas with cozy fireplaces and lovely mission-style architecture. Would love to visit again when we're in town. Dave Hurd

  1. Posted on 11/26/2019 - I had a very nice lunch at the University Club on 11/20/2019. The main dining area was occupied by a Rotary meeting, so casual diners were seated in the upstairs library. The food was nicely prepared, tasty, and reasonably priced, with very attentive, excellent service. I echo the previous comments about the facility, especially its artwork. One of the members told me the artwork is likely worth more that the building itself. - Mike Kanze
  2. Posted on July 28, 2018: This is such a nice little lunch club. It is surrounded by the Fuller Seminary campus. It's a historic building, great parking lot, with valet when busy, wonderful chef and menu. It;s worth going just to see the Alson Skinner Clark paintings. - Anita Brenner
